The Australian open, Tennis’ first Grand Slam of the year gets underway from mid January and I-Rovers Sports Bar will have all the action ‘live’ from the land down-under!!

With the world’s second highest tournament attendance (after the US Open), it is known as the ‘friendly’ slam and the one most enjoyed by the players themselves.

The biggest names in the tennis world are set to return with former no. 1’s Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray along with Kei Nishikori and Stan Wawrinka (all sidelined during 2017 with injuries) have confirmed they’ll return healthy for the Australian Open while defending champion, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal (who swept the Grand Slam pool in 2017) show no sign in slowing down as they prepare for more success this Australian summer!<?p>

In the woman’s draw, Serena Williams will be back looking for her 24th Grand Slam title after winning her 23rd last year while 8 weeks pregnant!!….but a host of contenders will be lined up to claim their own piece of history on Rod Laver Arena!

So if you are a big tennis fan (and can’t get to Melbourne), I-Rovers Sports Bar in Pattaya will be the next best place to watch all the action!!
